Comments from Dr. Adam Weitemier, the Department of Biological Sciences

High school students in the college preparatory school of Siap Kuliah in Indonesia visited TMU on a study tour on July 2nd. I gave a sample university lecture to them entitled "The Cell Membrane: more than just a sack”, which was about the structure and physical properties of cell membranes. They received my lecture with a positive attitude and were eager to offer their answers. I gave them a challenging exercise to do, and although the material was new to them, they all tried their best and actively participated. I was glad to have contributed to their experience at TMU.
