[Octopuses: The Ocean’s Most Mysterious Geniuses]

Octopuses are highly intelligent marine invertebrates belonging to the mollusk class. They are cold-blooded animals with blue blood because they use a copper-based protein to transport oxygen. In contrast, humans' hemoglobin gives our blood its red color.

Octopuses are intelligent and can solve puzzles, open containers, and learn through observation. They can also rapidly change their color and texture to blend into their surroundings and evade predators. Their soft, flexible bodies and powerful arms, equipped with highly sensitive suckers, enable them to enter narrow spaces and manipulate objects with great precision.

These traits make octopuses among the most fascinating marine creatures to study.

タコは軟体動物門に属する高度な知能を持つ海洋無脊椎動物だ。銅を基にしたタンパク質で酸素を運ぶため、青い血を持つ変温動物である。対照的に、人間のヘモグロビンは血液を赤く染める。

タコは知能が高く、パズルを解き、容器を開け、観察を通じて学習できる。また周囲に溶け込み捕食者から逃れるため、素早く色や質感を変えられる。柔らかく柔軟な体と強力な腕には高感度の吸盤が付いており、狭い空間に入り込み物体を精密に操作できる。
