Summer Intensive Lecture #3: Dr. Guojun Sheng from Kumamoto University

Dr. Guojun Sheng from Kumamoto University was invited as a lecturer for the summer intensive course entitled "Avian model for vertebrate early development on Sep. 7 and 8. This lecture included the general concept of developmental biology and the advanced topics such as his research contents. The lecture was interactive and students had a lot of discussions with Dr. Sheng. Although the schedule was tight, a practical component was also included. On the second day, students prepared the embryo from the chicken egg. It was a great opportunity for the students to learn the current knowledge of developmental biology.
