Biology Practice [Enzyme Properties] Solution pH and pH Buffer Capacity

The second semester has started!

pH (hydrogen ion concentration) is an essential environmental condition for organisms and biological reactions. Changes in pH give stress to cells and cause metabolic failure. Therefore, cells have a mechanism to suppress such pH fluctuation and keep it constant. The purpose of this course is to gain a practical understanding of the principles of pH and the effects of pH buffers. At the same time, learn how to use a pH meter, which is essential for measuring pH.

Although many students struggled to use the pH meter for the first time, they cooperated. In addition, when things did not go well in this course, they actively asked questions to the teacher and TA, and each student independently participated in the lecture.
